The Story Behind Little Heroes
Hi, I’m Tatiana Calvillo, founder and Executive Director of the The Little Heroes Foundation.
At 16 years old, I started Little Heroes with a simple belief that small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children facing difficult medical challenges.
What began as one idea has grown into a mission centered around bringing joy, comfort, and hope to pediatric patients and their families. Through comfort kits, volunteer events, and youth-led initiatives, we strive to remind children that they are never alone. Â
As someone who hopes to pursue a career in medicine, I created Little Heroes to combine compassion with action and inspire other people to use their time and talent to support others.Â
Today, Little Heroes continues to grow through the dedication of students, volunteers, and supporters who share the belief that one small act of kindness can make a big difference.Â

Looking Ahead
Tatiana hopes to continue expanding Little Heroes through new chapters, hospital partnerships, and community involvement while inspiring more students to create meaningful change.
